he reviews are in and critics say the Corrado (Joe) Manfredi "Taste of Italy" Golf Outing Thursday surpassed all others -- and in more ways than one. In what we're sure will go down as one of the 10 best days of the year -- weather wise -- the Silver Lake Golf Course was lined with linksters, who all came out to support the fun and fab annual event.
Throughout the golf course that day, players got to enjoy food tastings at various holes and chances to win prizes for best score, closest to the pin and a new Chevrolet vehicle, courtesy of Manfredi Chevrolet, for a hole in one. Proceeds from the event will benefit the ongoing myriad of arts, educational and cultural programs of the Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere.
