The Soccer Tournament (TST), the 7v7 event with a $1 million winner-take-all prize being played in Cary, NC from June 5-10 today announced the entry of Italian club Como 1907 in the 48-team event. Como 1907, who currently play in Italy’s Serie B, return to TST after a run to the quarterfinals in the inaugural event.
Como’s entry last year included legendary Spanish midfielder and Como 1907 co-owner Cesc Fabregas as the team’s manager, and the roster included two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash. Former Italian wunderkind and current Como 1907 star forward Patrick Cutrone won TST’s first Golden Boot with seven goals.
