World-renowned Italian-American coach John Noce, already an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Hall of Fame Inductee, received the prestigious Lefty Gomez Award at this year’s ABCA Hall of Fame Banquet in Nashville, Tennessee on January 6, 2023.
In addition to being a coach in Parma and Novara, he served on the Team Italy coaching staff from 1977-1996 during which time he led the Azzurri squad to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles (1984), Barcelona (1992) and 1996 (Atlanta). Last year he volunteered as a coach for the FIBS and IABF Bay Area Collegiate Games.
