Longtime Cape Coral director Anne Palmer is starting a regular dinner-theater show at Cape Coral's Italian-American Club. Palmer's Sand Flea Players troupe will stage a new comedy or light drama every 1½ months at the downtown Cape club, she says. That could eventually change to once a month.
The first play takes place Saturday, May 18. The comedy "A Little Something for the Ducks" shows what happens when two retirees meet at a duck pond and strike up a zesty, youthful relationship. It stars professional actors Barbara Becchino and Richard Steele.
