Teachers and singers from across Fairbanks and North Pole are joining for one night to perform 26 Italian songs and arias on stage at 7 p.m. Friday in Davis Concert Hall in the University of Alaska Fairbanks Fine Arts Complex.
The performance is a fundraiser for the National Association of Teachers of Singing. The cost is $5 at the door, but any donation will be accepted. "This is a really special concert because never have all of these amazing music teachers been on stage at the same time ever," UAF music professor Jaunelle Celaire wrote in an email to the News-Miner.
