Did you know that Amadeo Peter Giannini was the first banker to extend financial support to ordinary folks or that without his financial support, the Golden Gate Bridge would not have been built?

 Did you know that he bankrolled the Hollywood film industry for such films as Gone with the Wind and Disney's Snow White or that he originated savings bank books for school children?

He did all this in spite of enormous prejudice against him as an Italian American and an egalitarian banker.
