San Francisco Comites presents: Celebrating Italian Traditions and Innovation in the Bay Area & The 10th Anniversary of Museo Italo Americano’s Italian Christmas Market. Museo Italo Americano, 2 Marina Blvd -Fort Mason - Building C, San Francisco, CA. Sunday, December 4th. 12-1.30pm. A panel discussion followed by a TASTING of Italian wines and cheeses.

Inspired by Christmas Markets in Northern Italy and throughout most of Europe, this event will exude the warm atmosphere of Christmas and will feature artisanal food, unique handmade jewelry, Italian fashion and accessories, art objects, and several craft items, all made by Italian artisans.
Speakers: Irene Mingozzi, Silicon Valley Italian Hub, will talk about tradition and innovation in the Italian Food Valley, the Emilia Romagna Region. Giulio Battaglini, Battaglini Winery, will talk about his commitment to preserving the old-fashioned Italian way of making wines, brought here from Lucca by his parents Giuseppe and Lucia. Francesco Covucci, Casaro Pizzeria, and Barbara Pinseria will talk about his efforts to maintain the authenticity of Italian pizza in an American environment. Audrey Ramini will talk about her journey to keep alive her husband’s dream to replicate buffalo mozzarella in the Bay Area.
