On Dec. 7, ParoLab, the book club of Italians in DC, will host a presentation of "A New Map: The Poetry of Migrant Writers in Italy" co-edited by Italian-French poet and critic Mia Lecomte. Italophone Argentinian poet Candelaria Romero and Lecomte will read from their poetry collections, Georgetown University professor of Italian Nicoletta Pireddu will talk of new foreign authors writing in Italian, and violinist Diana Le Grande Mollaioli will provide musical backdrop for the readings.
