Fred Napolitano Sr. is the recipient of the 2015 Virginia Beach First Citizen Award, the Virginia Beach Jaycees announced this week.
In a news release, the Jaycees said Napolitano, a New York native, is a first generation Italian who moved to Virginia Beach in 1955 when he recognized the vast potential the city had for success as a builder and developer. Recipients are honored in the current year for the prior year.
