The next Abruzzo Molise Heritage Society (AMHS) luncheon will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Carmine's Restaurant (425 Seventh Street, NW, Washington, DC) to celebrate the coming of spring after the long, cold winter, and to enjoy a chance to socialize over a glass of wine and a delicious lunch. Afterwards, we will have an "open forum" discussion of the recent PBS programs on "The Italian Americans" describing the Italian immigrant experience. Come join in what is sure to be a lively and interesting discussion!
The lunch menu includes pasta with vegetables, ravioli, veal saltimbocca, dessert of cannoli with coffee, tea and a glass of wine. (Additional wine is for purchase). The cost, $30.00 per person. Paid reservations must be received by Jeff Clark, AMHS Treasurer, no later than March 24 (12 Adams Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001).
