Five Thousand Stories of Italian Migration from the Mountains of Bologna and Modena to America at the Turn of the Twentieth Century: a book presentation by Pier Giorgio Ardeni
This is a book of stories, hundreds and thousands of stories, which together tell of the exodus known as the Great Italian Emigration. This book includes the stories of the swarms of men, women and children who, out of sheer lack of a decent living, moved from a group of villages in the Apennine mountains of Bologna and Modena to labor in the American Midwest.
