One of Cincinnati's oldest and largest traditions, The Original Italian Dinner, is happening this Sunday. This year, volunteers at Sacred Heart Church are making more than 21,000 meatballs and 200,000 raviolis by hand in preparation for Sunday's feast.
It takes volunteers weeks to prepare for the feast in Camp Washington, which benefits the church. The Original Italian Dinner is held at Sacred Heart Church located at 2733 Massachusetts Ave. The dining room opens at noon. Carryout for this year's Italian dinner begins at 10 a.m.
