A reading of poems from "The Fathers' America" (Bordighera Press, 2016) L'America dei Padri," Ernesto Livorni’s third collection with English translation. The author will read his poems with Laura Biagi, who will also provide the musical arrangements.
Ernesto Livorni is Professor of Italian Language and Literature, Comparative Literature and Religious Studies, at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His scholarly publications include Avanguardia e tradizione: Ezra Pound e Giuseppe Ungaretti (1998) and T. S. Eliot, Montale e la modernità dantesca (forthcoming).
