Ambassador Cladio Bisogniero will arrive in Madison, Wisconsin on the evening of November 30, and will be greeted by the Consul General of the Chicago Consulate Office and members of the Italian Workmen's Club of Madison (IWC). The IWC is coordinating the Ambassodor's visit.
On Monday, December 1st, the Ambassador will have breakfast at the Wisconsin State Capitol with State Representative Peter Barca and members of the Italian Caucus in the State Assembly.
After breakfast, the Ambassador with meet with the Chair and staff of the Italian Language program at the University of Wisconsin, the largest Italian Language Department in the U.S., and will give a short address and answer questions from the faculty and staff.
After the University session, there will be an Executive Reception for the Ambassador at Porta Bella Italian Restaurant in downtown Madison, attended by, among others, Madison Mayor, Paul Soglin, Dane County Executive Joseph Parisi, Enrique Gandara of the Wis. Dept. of Agriculture's International Economic Development Div., and Officers and members of the IWC.
After the Reception, the Ambassador will leave for Milwaukee, and other cities in the Chicago Consulate Office's territory.
