The University of Nebraska at Omaha chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America is hosting La Notte Italiana benefit dinner on Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Security National Bank Community Room, 101st and Pacific Streets. Authentic Italian cuisine donated by some of Omaha's family-owned Italian restaurants will be featured. The event also will include a silent auction.
Tickets are $25 for adults; $15 for students with ID; and $5 for children ages 12 and younger. The price of the ticket includes a full-course buffet. For more information or to order tickets, contact Karen Weber at 402-554-2246 or at kweber@unomaha.edu. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a backpack drive for Youth Emergency Services, a local nonprofit that helps homeless and at-risk youth.
