After months of hard work (and many bumps along the way) we are thrilled to finally announce we are opening in our new space, at 124 Salem Street, in Boston's North End! Since announcing our plans earlier this year, there have been many exciting new initiatives, as well as a number of setbacks that delayed our opening date. But all of that is behind us now, as we prepare to open the doors to everyone starting Friday, Dec. 17.
It is hard to believe how far this little bookstore has come ever since opening its first location on North Street, back in 2015. All the energy, passion and love accumulated in five years at that location were severely impacted when the pandemic tore through the globe in 2020. But the ideas, the passion, those never gave up, and a little over a year after closing our old store, we are proud to open once again in the same neighborhood that has embraced us from the very start.
As most businesses, we also have been impacted by problems in the supply chain, and opening in the last part of the year made some things even trickier. So the bookstore is not yet running at full speed, but it was important for us to open the doors as soon as we had received all our permits, because we wanted to return all the love and support you have shown throughout these difficult times.
Our online operations will continue as before and become even stronger, reaching more and more people across the country. Because of the new store opening, some shipments have been delayed, but we are working hard to get those fulfilled as soon as possible.
We hope to see you soon in our new bookstore. It has been too long, and we've missed everyone so much.
Thank you, as always, for giving us a chance.
Sempre avanti!
