Lecture presented by Professor Gaetano Cipolla who will also present his latest book Mparamu lu Siciliano.
Professor Cipolla will provide a historical background on the Sicilian language as the first literary language of Italy and as the only means of communication among Sicilians until the twentieth century. Following, will be, the presentation of his Learn Sicilian/Mparamu lu Sicilianu, a modern textbook designed for the classroom and for the individual learner. Book signing reception will follow the presentation.
