Tyburn Academy of Mary Immaculate Principal Maura DelFavero believes if one were to seek out a model woman, Catholic, educator and human being in general, they'd be hard-pressed to find better than Jeanne Hogan. Those who have worked with Hogan, a former principal of Tyburn, would agree, DelFavero said.
Hogan will be honored by the local Cultural Italian American Organization at its annual Christopher Columbus Recognition Dinner for the fingerprint she left on the school and her ironclad dedication to religious education. The event will be held at the Springside Inn in Fleming Oct. 8. (Tickets are no longer available.)
