Houston Italian Festival sidewalk chalk art contest accepting applications

Applications for the 7th Annual I Madonnari (EE Mad-doe-nahr-ee) Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest are now being accepted. The contest, set for Saturday, October 12, will be held during the 35th Annual Houston Italian Festival, October 10 thru 13, on the ground of the University of St. Thomas.
To apply for this colored chalk art contest, applicants must be classified as a high school sophomore or junior in Spring 2013.
