True fashion plates can spot a Fendi bag from across a room. The LVMH-owned, Italian-based luxury house reached peak popularity in the late ‘90s and early 2000s, right at the crux of logo mania. Its signature interlocking Fs are synonymous with cheeky, lightly ostentatious style — and in some cases, a healthy “Sex and the City” obsession.
Sarah Jessica Parker, the actress who famously portrayed the accessory-addicted Carrie Bradshaw in the hit HBO series, recently helped revive Fendi’s most iconic purse. “It’s not a bag, it’s a baguette,” Parker coos in the brand’s 2019 #BaguettesFriendsForever campaign.
