A group of citizens made a dreamy trip to Venice and back at last night's "Sotto Le Stelle Italiane," Under the Italian Stars, benefiting Texas Center for the Missing (TCM). Over 170 caring Houstonians came out to enjoy the lovely Italian ambiance and support Houston's 24/7 Amber Alert provider.
The evening was held at the home of Stephanie & Mark Deverka, who earlier this month received the 2013 Houston's Best Prism Award Winner for Best Overall Interior Design in its Category. With a live auction, big board auction, a wine toss, and paddle raising, the guests rallied throughout the night to support this worthy cause. Later in the evening Christine & Ty Hoffer were awarded the 2013 Gabriel Lester Hero Award for their dedication to keeping children in the community safe, presented by TCM's Founder, the parents of a missing child, and a mother of a relocated child.
