We simply can't get enough pizza; it's by far the world's most favorite food. New Jersey's too; there are some 2,000 pizzerias in the Garden State, covering every conceivable corner. We've done lists of the best burger, best sub/hoagie shop, best diner, best ice cream shop and best Italian restaurant in each county; we've even ranked all 21 counties by which have the best food.
Now it's time to give pizza its due, with the best pizzeria in each county. I've been to every one of the 21 named pizzerias; no one gets on this list because of Facebook likes or yelp rating. But this is just one person's opinion. Let the doughy debate begin. Note: The runners-up are in alphabetical order.
