A new management team took over the longtime Secaucus Italian institution Bareli's in November, and has been rolling out changes to the formerly old-school restaurant. First came a complete renovation of the dining room (left).
Also, the menu has been modernized; it's now Italian-American, with entrees generally in the $18 to $31 range. Fans of the former Ponte's in Tribeca will be interested to know that Bareli's is now serving the its famous "angry lobster" entree for $55 (Ponte's owner Vincent Ponte is a partner at Bareli's).
