Vincenzo Bernardo envisions the kids coming over after school to grab a slice of pizza or a bite to eat at "The Shop - Pizza, Pasta & Panino" that has just opened at 365 Main Street in Chatham, the former Cafe Villa space.

It's easy for Bernardo, co-owner of "The Shop" with longtime friend, Christopher Bezzone, to envision because he used to be one of those kids. Bernardo's father would bring him over to Cafe Villa from Madison to get a slice after school.
