The 2022 winners of the Best Mutz in New Jersey, Massimo Deli, are at it again competing for the best mozzarella in the central Jersey region. Voting began on May 15 and goes until May 29. This story of Massimo’s today begins with brother in laws Nick Altamura and Joe Cantatore. They immigrated from Molfetta, Italy 45 years ago and settled in Hoboken and Union City opening up an Italian deli in Montclair. They sold the deli 15 years ago and bought Massimo's in Kenilworth deciding to keep the name from previous owners.
