Russo’s Italian Restaurant is expected to launch in mid-May on the corner of 14th Street and the Boulevard in Ship Bottom. The highly visible site elevated above the street most recently housed Crabby Paddy’s restaurant. Now the Italian restaurant operators are bringing three decades of expertise from major metropolitan areas to their new Long Beach Island location.
The restaurant has been anticipated on social media. At the end of February, observers asked if Russo’s was still coming when they no longer saw the temporary banner on the outside of the building. “The signs have been removed so the new ones can be put up,” explained building owner Patrick Moeller.
