The three-decade-old Italian restaurant Sorrento in East Rutherford has been purchased and its name will be changed to Su Di Noi, according to the new owner, Renaldo Mora.
He said that the new chef, Ciro Conti, had previously cooked at Girasole and Il Cortile in the city, and that the menu would still be Italian but was under construction now. The restaurant is open for business, but a formal grand opening is scheduled for Sept. 15.
