There are two chefs working side-by-side at Belmont restaurant Tavola this week. One of them is Vivetta Cintelli, who is here on a chef exchange from Charlottesville's Italian sister city, Poggio a Caiano.
Through translator Caterina Martane, Cintelli said she's excited to be in America. "It's a new experience in a totally different kitchen than the one of il Falcone," she said. "[I] found a really high level of quality of the ingredients and the staff, so everything is really exciting for [me]."
