Chef Yusmin Puche Gottardo is bringing her authentic Italian cooking that has grown popular at farmers markets in Crawfordsville and Lafayette to a storefront at 127 E. Main Street. Gottardo and her husband, Valentino, are bringing Crawfordsville a taste of the old country their new restaurant, Valentino Italian Cuisine.
The Gottardo's have lived in Crawfordsville since 2008 and have owner Farm Valentino on U.S. 136 for just as long. The lasagna and focaccia that Yusmin made to sell alongside their farm fresh vegetables at the farmers market is what spurred the new restaurant.
