Metro Detroit could see five new Italian chain restaurants in the next couple of years, only this one has a drive-through option. Fazoli's restaurant, which has been around since 1988, is a fast-casual restaurant known for its breadsticks but also serves pasta, sandwiches, salads, pizza and more.
"Most of the drive-through is moms heading home or somebody coming to take food back to the office," said Doug Bostick, vice president of franchise services. "Thirty-five percent of business is through the drive-through." Currently, there aren't any Fazoli's in the Metro area, but Bostick said it would be a great substitute for Olive Garden because of their price point and "portable product."
