After relocating to Columbus, Youngstown natives Adam Sterling and Angelo Fagnano noticed that the city’s Italian food scene wasn’t as robust as that of their hometown. And they’re trying to change that. The duo is launching a brand-new new Italian food truck, Ciao! Italian Eatery later this month.
“In Youngstown, Italian food is king,” Sterling, a former chef for the Indianapolis Colts, as well as a private chef for NBA players, said. “I noticed more and more that there wasn’t a huge Italian food scene here, unless you wanted the basics or something high class. We’re trying to recreate that high class food, but make it accessible to everyone.”
