Traditional, authentic recipes and clean ingredients are on the minds of consumers lately, and more businesses hope to bring that to the table. Andiamo Artisan Bakery, an Italian bakery, prides itself on bringing all that and more to Hamilton. Founder Vincent J. Palozzi started selling cookies out of his home to local Oxford businesses in fall 2017.
The Hamilton location was opened in August 2021 to expand on the line and include desserts that need to be refrigerated. However, the idea has roots that go back at least a century and span an ocean. “Family members in Italy, Sicily, the U.S. and Canada have been in the food industry in one way or the other for over a century,” Palozzi said.
