Yet another Zack Sklar restaurant is opening in Birmingham. Arthur Ave — named after the famous Little Italy strip in the Bronx — is situated next to Peas & Carrots Hospitality's most recent endeavor Au Cochon. Designed by 555 International in Chicago, the 2,500-square-foot space seats 120 diners, according to a release.
The establishment features booths, raised dining areas, and tiled arches. Additionally, the walls and ceilings at Arthur Ave are dressed up with vintage posters, Italian groceries, and black and white photos. Both Arthur Ave and its French-American counterpart Au Cochon share a kitchen headed by executive chef Mark Barbarich.
