Jack Fasciano has settled on a spot for his Angelo's Wichita Bake @ Home Italian Foods – the former Toni D's space in Carriage Parkway, 650 N. Carriage Parkway. He expects to sign the lease sometime this week, he said, but isn't sure yet when he'll be able to open.
In March, Fasciano raised more than $40,000 through a Kickstarter campaign designed to give him seed money to start the business. He received donations from all over the world, including from Italy and the Philippines. Kickstarter is a website that allows people to attempt to raise money online for causes or projects.
