A long-term ambition and first publicly shared back in 2015, Italian beer maestro Alex Liberati is now firmly on track for the summer debut of his Liberati brewery, bar, restaurant, and store.
Expanding beyond its original “oenobeer” production concept, the 24,00-square-foot Curtis Park location at 2403 Champa Street, inside the former Downtown Denver Warehouse, has been installing fermenters, kitchen equipment, a grape press, and a “mozzarella lab” to create house-made straciatella, mozzarella and burrata. Bread will also be made daily and available in Liberati’s store, expected to also carry the house specialty, an uncommon Italian grape ale.
