Joe Simone captured the breakfast and lunch appetites of Greater Fall River diners with his Warren, R.I. restaurant The Sunnyside. And now he's back with a whole new venture: Simone's. This time around, Simone is serving dinner, and eventually breakfast and lunch at the new restaurant that he opened with his brother, John Simone.
Chef Simone rolled out the dinner menu a few weeks ago to invitation-only guests, working out the kinks before opening nights a week ago. And already, customers have their favorites from among the menu that he described as "olive oil foods" that take a cue from Mediterranean countries, but take the dining experience beyond the realm of Mediterranean fare, he said.
