A new cocktail bar and Italian spot, offering seafood and more, has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Peabody, called Luce, is located at 1 Shepard St. Formerly known as Shepard, this spot has been reimagined into an autentic Italian bistro.
On the menu, expect to find eats like brick-oven pizza topped with fig and prosciutto, lemon linguine, grilled oysters and New York strip steak. Pair those plates with a specialty cocktail. For a post-dinner dessert, there's gelato and sorbet. With a 3.5-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival is getting solid feedback from clientele.
