arte italia is pleased to announce the return of renowned Chef Nicola Portinari from Veneto, Italy! Chef Portinari will guest-host culinary exhibition classes September 27th - 29th. Please read about visiting Chef Portinari and enter your name in the Randomized Selection Registration explained below. You may register anytime from August 17th - August 30th.
Chef Nicola Portinari ~ September 27 - 29, 2015. Ristorante La Peca - Lonigo, Veneto. A two-starred Michelin Chef, Nicola Portinari was born into a family that nurtured his love for traditional Italian cuisine. By assisting his father at the local butcher shop and rotisserie, Nicola learned the intricacies of working with fine meats while simultaneously mastering the value of Italy's rich ingredients. For each culinary class the visiting chef will prepare a traditional Italian dinner including antipasto, primo piatto, secondo piatto and dolce. All classes begin at 6 p.m. and are typically over by 8 p.m.
Classes are held at 442 Flint Street in Reno.

Regional interest in arte italia's culinary program has been overwhelming! Our guests are thrilled to dine in the Cucina with visiting Chefs, but our seating capacity is limited. We strive to fairly allocate seating between new and former culinary guests and utilize a fair system of randomized selection to assign seating for each class. Read more

Tuition Fees for Selected Registrants:
$60 per class ($55 for seniors 65+ and students).
All culinary class tuition is donated to Roman Catholic charitable organizations.
