A new Italian restaurant has opened in Scottsdale. Leoni's Focaccia is serving up Italian-style sandwiches, as well as salads and desserts, like albacore tuna, Pecorino Romano, and arugula sandwiches, according to the Phoenix New Times. The restaurant opened April 1 at 7116 E. Mercer Lane, near Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard.
Leoni's is under the helm of husband-and-wife duo Danielle Leoni and Dwayne Allen, who own the Caribbean-style restaurant The Breadfruit & Rum Bar in downtown Phoenix, off of Pierce Street between First and Second Streets.
