August Wine Group, a Seattle-based importer of industry-leading wineries and family-owned boutique estates in Europe and South America, today announced an exclusive partnership with prominent Italian producer Fantinel to import its wines, Tenuta Sant’ Helena, Borgo Tesis and Fantinel Sparkling.
Fantinel is a third-generation family winery founded in 1969, and today is the largest producer and private holder of vineyards in the venerated region of Friuli Venezia-Giulia. With distinctive growing sites in Collio, Collio Orientali and Grave, Fantinel is recognized around the world as a leader in the production of premium Prosecco, Pinot Grigio and other classic wines of the region. In the United States, Fantinel moves its robust portfolio to August Wine Group, with a multi-year plan to aggressively expand sales.
