Restaurant-loving Oregonians, particularly food cart fans, won't be completely in the dark about piadinas: the thin, dusty flatbread native to Italy's Emilia-Romagna region appear occasionally at local Italian restaurants and have a permanent home at North Portland's Gabagool food cart.
Now Strada, a fast-casual chain that started with a since-closed location in Vancouver, Wash. then expanded to Tigard's Washington Square Mall six months ago, hopes to do for piadina wraps what Chipotle did for the burrito.
