Palazzo Reale hosts an important exhibit dedicated to Italian artist Piero Manzoni, one of the most controversial, if not original, artists of the 20th Century.
Alongside such innovative creatives as Lucio Fontana, Manzoni worked mostly in his native Milan. As a protagonist during the fervent Italian post-War period and one among the European neo-avant garde, he counted as his counterparts Yves Klein in France, the Zero group in Germany, Holland's Nul and the international Nouvelle Tendance.
