A tech case made from recycled nylon with an integrated solar panel to charge smartphones. This eco-friendly invention comes from a class at the “Scarpellini” Technical and Economic Institute in Foligno, designed for those who want to use their phone all day outdoors without limits, even during hiking or outdoor sports activities. The students of Class 5B, during business economics lessons, not only invented this unique phone case but also created a prototype, designed eco-friendly packaging, and developed a marketing plan to sell the product at a launch price of €29.99 both online and in stores in Perugia.
The entrepreneurial idea, presented at the "Italia Angelucci Baldoni" competition, won the first-place prize of €1,500. The “Recover Solar Cover” project was praised for its originality and focus on sustainable living. The case is compatible with all mobile devices, water-resistant, and particularly targets the digitally native Generation Y consumers, a demographic increasingly interested in products combining technology and sustainability.
