On the occasion of the centenary of Mike Bongiorno’s birth, Milan’s Palazzo Reale is hosting an unprecedented exhibition from Sept. 17 to Nov. 17, 2024, celebrating the life and career of the Italian American anchor man, one of the greatest protagonists of Italian television.
The exhibition, entitled Mike Bongiorno 1924-2024, not only traces the professional life of the famous presenter through a path that explores sixty years of his career, but also tells how Bongiorno was an innovator, capable of interpreting and accompanying the changes in Italian society. With his unique style he was able to enter the homes of Italians, becoming “one of the family.”
