As requested by Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani, the new digital platform M.I.R.T.A. (Monitoraggio In Rete Tutela e Assistenza Consolare – Consular Protection and Assistance Online Monitoring) was inaugurated today.
The platform will allow the embassies and consulates of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to monitor the actions carried out to assist Italian citizens around the world via a versatile and articulated tool. “The launch of the new platform is another step in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ efforts to protect Italians around the world in an increasingly efficient and effective manner”, commented Antonio Tajani.
