Meredith Marshall opened her Midtown home for a reception to kick off the annual Palm Beach gathering of the American Friends of the Uffizi Gallery.
The event took place Feb. 2 and honored Contessa Maria Vittoria Colonna Rimbotti, president of the Amici degli Uffizi in Florence, Italy.
The evening included poolside cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and remarks from the guest of honor, who told guests how grateful she is to the gallery's American Friends group and how important it is to protect the "roots of our civilization" at one of the oldest public art galleries in the world.
