Reducing healthcare costs; restoring trust in government; reducing crime—those are just some of the subjects tackled by Arklatex authors Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr, in their patriotic new book. The writers ask: is America still shining—or have the lights dimmed forever?
Part of the book was inspired by an Italian immigrant who came to Louisiana five decades ago. It is a story both personal and poignant. “Our job with this book is to inspire you to believe in yourself, so that you might never vote for someone who doesn’t believe in you, too.” said co-author Louis Avallone.
