Contributors are needed for Italian-Americans: A History and Culture of a People, a historical reference book scheduled to be published by ABC-CLIO.
The book will be comprised of about 160 entries on various topics pertaining to Italian-American history and culture divided into five areas: I. Patterns of emigration: Urban and rural settlement; II. Civic Engagement and Economic Life: Endeavors in Business and American Civil Society; III. Cultural and Religious Life: People, Institutions, and Expressions of Identity; IV. Science and Humanities: Contributions to Science, Literature, and the Arts; and V. Sports and Popular Culture: Contributions to Sports, Media, and Americana.
