Italian cooking maven, TV host, restaurateur and cookbook author Lidia Bastianich will bring her expertise to the Pabst Theater Jan. 16. "An Intimate Conversation with Lidia Bastianich" will feature the Emmy award-winning host of Public Television's "Lidia's Italy" for an evening of conversation and storytelling celebrating Italian food.
The appearance follows the release last week of her newest book, "Lidia's Mastering the Art of Italian Cuisine: Everything You Need to Know to be a Great Italian Cook" (Knopf, $37.50), co-authored with her daughter, Tanya Bastianich Manuali. Reserved-seating tickets for the 7 p.m. event go on sale at noon on Friday at pabsttheater.org and cost $45.
