It has sat empty for several years, but plans are to reopen a new restaurant/lounge at the site of the former Villa Capri off Route 1A. Joseph F. Frisoni Jr. of Foxboro has bought the property and plans to open a 168-seat Italian/American restaurant called Angelina's as soon as December.
Selectmen Tuesday night approved the transfer of an all-alcoholic license from Villa Capri to Angelina's. The state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission has to approve the transfer.
